At Another American Life we’re focused on one thing: understanding the American people.
And we do.
Unlike most other forecasting firms, pollsters and pundits, from primary season straight through to November, we consistently made the right calls upwind in both 2016 and 2020.
What’s more, we made them early because we saw them coming.
(And predicted a good bit of the fallout, too.)
what gives us an edge?
First, we don’t just tune-in to the coasts and the cities — we reach out to Americans in every county of all fifty states. All 3,006 of them.
Second, we want to know how people we’re talking to think about everything. Religion, politics, race, gender, sexuality, money, education, law enforcement — we go deep. Frankly, we don’t think you can dance around the hard stuff and understand how people tick — so there’s literally no conversation we won’t have.
And finally, not only do we talk about everything, we talk to everyone. We don’t put people in boxes, we don’t police their speech. We don’t cancel views we don’t agree with. So we see things as they are, warts and all.
When it comes to listening and learning, we’re hands-on, people-focused and relationship-driven.
From one-on-one conversations to digital chatrooms in Clubhouse, virtual/RL focus-groups to building online communities on Facebook and Instagram, when it comes to sentiment analysis, our research methodologies are unique, and give us deep insight into both what people are thinking, and why.
Simply put, we don’t ‘poll’ people. We get to know them. We become part of their lives, interact with them across multiple platforms every day, year in and year out.
And by showing up everyday, not just in the lead up to election season, we’ve built a strong community we’re able to tap for insights and understanding when our clients need it most.
